Okay, finally have everything working.
When I'm recording two tracks in (guitar in 1, vocals in 2) it's working fine. The levels are in the 0 area. When I play back, however (the tracks on safe) it's blowing the levels, hitting the +6 area and causing MAJOR distortion in my monitors. When I switch from safe to the L and R it recedes down, but not entirely. Also, there seems to be a type of pulse going through when I'm listening in playback. Just a steady WHOM, WHOM, WHOM that goes on and off. I've tried switching cords, thinking that was the problem, and switching tracks and whatnot, but I can't figure out the problem. Any veterans in here that could help me out?
