Hello, I just replaced a stock pick up from an Epiphone SG with a Gibson 500T.The problem I'm having is this, the pick up sounds thin and weak, no distortion at all even on high gain channels (tried on three different amps). I checked Gibsons web sight to find that I have wired the pick up properly. I also swaped the red and black wires to check if it was a phasing issue. Just wondering if this has happened to anyone else and if the problem is me. Otherwise I'm thinking the pick up defective. Thanks
