I have a Roland TD-10 and want to record with it. I am currently using Reaper software and have a M-Audio Delta 66 soundcard. The TD-10 has 8 outputs (labeled Master, Direct 1, Direct 2, and Direct 3, both having a left and right channel.) I have a drum monitoring system that is connected with the master output. I was trying to record using one of the direct outputs, but these only give a very limited volume(so low that I cannot use for recording).
I was hoping to be able to both monitor and record using the Delta 66 and Reaper, but the latency keeps me from being able to use this configuration.
Is there a way I can use personal monitoring system to hear what i am doing in real time and also record? If this is not possible with a TD-10, is there another soundcard that would have next to no latency?
Thanks for reading this long question
