Problem with v67m

Hi, I just received my v67m from marsmusic and the shockmount from musicians friend. A strange thing is occuring with my mic when i place it in the shockmount. I get a strange hum that is very loud. This only occurs when it is placed in the shockmount. I was wondering if anyone else had this problem and if anyone could help. Thanks.

I use the same mic now with the same shockmount, and don't have that problem. Get Harvey Gerst to help you. He is the man.
