I have a Echo Mia and it shares the same IRQ with the video card (Nvidia TNT2). I am using Windows ME and it will not let me change the IRQ on either one. Any suggestions?

Not real sure with ME OS, but you may be able to go into your Bios setup & force the slot your audio card is in {not to share with anything} I did this with 98'se

My bios (award) doesn't give me the option to assign an IRQ to a slot. The only thing I can do is assign an IRQ to PCI/ISA or ISA legacy. I have a Shuttle MB with a Via Apollo Pro133a chipset running a PIII 933.

Bummer !!!! If you have other unused slots, you might try moving your audio card to another slot and reinstall. You may find a slot that does'nt share. One things for sure, audio cards & video cards dont like to share.
Another option is to contact Echo Mia support. If they have a good tech support group, they may be willing to walk you through a solution.

Best of Luck

maybe try and turn of the plug and play option in your bios....

that may help....and then try and setup the irqs manually

..your best and easiest solution is just to move the card to another slot (as said above) :P

I switched slots and now the Mia is only sharing IRQs with the ACPI IRQ holder for PCI IRQ steering.

Umm...

That's actually not sharing. All PCI slots with a device in it will show as sharing with that IRQ holder.
