Problem with Focusrite soundcard...

Hi guys,

I'm having some issues with my soundcard, it's a Focusrite saffire PRO 10 (I think it's been discontinued now). Basically there's a consistant and harsh hiss coming from the output, i've made sure it's not my monitors by plugging in headphones and the hiss is still there. My knowledge of soundcards is quite basic so im unsure if it's just a setting i've got wrong or something more serious. If it is something more permanent is it possible to get a problem like this fixed or would it mean buying a new one (hopefully not)

You might have some internal damage with it?
I have the focusrite pro 40 and it was doing the same thing when I first got mine.
I returned it to the store and they gave me a new one.
Later on I was talking with the guys and they said that it had some internal damage.
Had it dropped or anything like that?
