Problem with Big Knob and Mono...

I have some recording to do tomorrow, and I'm having a problem.

I use to have an external Headphone amp but now all I'm using is the Mackie Big Knob.

The problem is that the vocalist is only getting a mono signal in the cans from the Mackie. Everything is in stereo except for the vocalist.

I thought I could hit the Mono button on the big knob and send a mono signal through the phone outs but it only controls the mains.

What can I do?
Will a 1/4" Stereo Plug to 1/4" Mono Jack Adapter work???

are you saying the vox track is coming back in only one side of the headphones? or that it's only in mono....

'cause it SHOULD be only in mono. That's how vocals are recorded.

Yeah, I mean it's only in one ear. Sorry about the confusion.

1 mic, mono source, I need it in the left and right sides of the headphones...

Can I put something in-line or what? There's no mono button for the phone mix.
