Hey so I have a Focusrite Control 24 created by digidesign... I run Pro Tools 8 LE on a relatively new Quad-core Mac pro... heres the deal...
it was working perfectly at first... I usually shut the computer down, but this time I put it in sleep mode, so now the channel strips aren't working/connecting... the main monitor level works as do the input gains, but but the channel strips aren't connecting... the automated faders will still reset when you move them... but other than that the channels are dead...
I have tried re-booting the system, unplugging the firewire and have made sure that all other cables are plugged in as they should be... I have checked the the digidesign site for troubleshooting instructions but have found nothing of any help...
so if any of you have any insight into the matter it would be a huge help... I have a tech friend that will be able to come in and take a look at it in about a week or two but I figured if any of you knew the deal it would be quicker if I posted it
