Problem Recording CDs

Ok heres the problem

I am mixing down to a CD recorder ( i have the Tascam CDR and the phillps CD-R)

when i mix down to either one of these i CANNOT play back on a DVD player that I have ( it is a Samsung DVD player)

the cdrs play back on the computer--in the car---on a cd player---all except for that DVD player...
Do CDRs not play back on DVD players at all??

There's nothing wrong with the CD-R....

...the problem is that most DVD players DO NOT play CD-Rs or CD-RWs......... the one exception being Hitachi models that specifically indicate CD-R compatibility.

ok thanks...

I guess that means i shouldnt mass peoduce these things at home...cause a lot of people seem to be getting the dvd players for their home theater/homestereos
