Hello Everybody
I have tried this two times now and on two different computers and I want to know if anybody else also have had this issue or if anybody knows what the problem might be.
I use wavelab 6 to limit my final mix for a television program. The sound is exported from the editing program Edius 6,02 and I export the sound as: PCM Wave 16 bit, 2ch.
When the files is rendered with just a limieter to -12 DB, approximately half way into the file, it lowers the sound very much. One time it lowered it to - 30DB and the other time it lowered it to between -14DB and -20DB. It doesn't last throughout the rest of the file, it's only for like 5-6-7 minutes and then it gets back on track with a correct limiter to -12 DB.
I use Wavelab a lot and everyday I export 2-3 wave files from Edius and limit them in Wavelab. So it's a really rare problem I've experienced.
The sound does never peak, so that can't be the problem.
Thank you,
Regards
Emily
