I recently been having problems burnig CDs. Some of the tracks trun out fine but some get fairly distorted. This happens with both songs ive recorded myself and songs from normal CDs. Any adivce on how to fix the problem? Im using an Acer burner and Sony CDs.

Nero, dont know what version but im guessing a fairly recent one.

Try burning at a lower rate (eg. x12 instead of x16, or x8 instead of x12) - I've found this to fix numerous burning problems - well, actually problems playing the burned CD.

Hope this helps -

jeez! NEVER burn faster than 2x!!! there is a drastic reduction in sound quality.

?!?!?!?

That is absolute horse poop!!

1's and 0's always remain 1's and 0's when burning CD's - its all digital.

CD burning errors are caused by buffers getting too full, thats all.

I know that when I am burning to cd I have to turn off all other programs, depending on your computer, especially if you have anti virus that may cause some problems.
