I have a casio wk-1600 and a midi cord plugged in.(cord is plugged in through gameport, that is the way it was made to be plugged in.) Everytime i try
and import it works but when i play back everything from my keyboard only
plays back through my keyboard. I can not get it to play through my
speakers at any time, and whenever i turn off the keyboard my beats dont
play. This is very annoying and I have tried so many things to fix it but
nothin has worked. If anyone here has anyidea I would greatly appreciate
it, and after all this once I am done how do i convert it from midi to wav.

I'm guessing here but it sounds like you want to play the sounds back from the soundcard rather than the Casio?

If the MIDI tracks are being played back by the Casio that means they are being directed to the output of gameport MIDI interface on your soundcard, which is connected to the Casio's MIDI In. To get them to play through the soundcard's synth, you need to set the keyboard to be the source of the notes (so you can play using the keyboard), but the tracks should be directed to the soundcard's onboard synth. What kind of soundcard is it? There should be a MIDI device in the list called "MIDI Synth" or something like that.

You do realize that the sounds the keyboard makes are not being transferred via MIDI, just the information that tells any MIDI-compatible synth what notes to play, how long, etc.? You might find that your onboard soundcard's synth sounds pretty rinky-dink compared to your Casio...

To convert from MIDI to WAV, you have to record the MIDI parts to audio tracks, plain and simple. Check this out:
