I recently recorded at a small local studio with a nice pro tools rig, and both while I was tracking and when I got to hear the final mix, I absolutely loved the reverb. Seeing how I checked out the producer's rack gear and saw no outboard reverb, I came to the conclusion that the reverb he was using was from a pro tools plugin. So I wanted to try out D-verb, which is a plugin that comes with certain versions of pro tools and a possible reverb plugin he used (although yes, he might have bought a better one, seeing how this one is free). There is a free download of the D-verb installer for pro tools users here: http://archive.digidesign.com/download/dverb/, but I was wondering if it was possible to download it or convert it to a .dll file so I could just stick it in the vst plugins folder of my Cubase AI4. Anyone know if this is possible/where to find it?

No. You cannot. It HAS to come as a .dll, there is no wrapper to go from PT plugs to vst.

If you want to use the ProTools toys, you have to use ProTools.

They don't play well with others....
