Pro-tools problem.. Please help!!

Pro-tools Le problem! help !!!
Well I'm runnin pro-tools le on my G4... Basically, when I'm playin a session it will stop and say, " interruptions held off for too long, if this occurs again higher and other times it will say lower the buffer size."

Now when I increase the buffer size sooner or later it will say decrease buffer size and vice versa. Can anyone assist me because I know sooner or later this will take a big toll on my g4 and things will really get ugly...
 
I dont know that Ive ever gotten mine to say decrease the buffer size...but you should be able to find the right setting if you mess wit it. Ya... do that...
 
Are you running that on your system drive? I only get that kind of error when recording multiple tracks on my internal drive.

Also, has it always done this, or has it worked before and this is a new development?

Yeah it started to do this a while back once I started using the audiosuites, and been doing it ever since... How exactly do I find the right setting?

I know the studio I go to other then mine, he leaves his buffer size at 512 and thats it... Shoot it seems like mine is not steady its either i have to increase or decrease it!! Its starting to be a pain in the ASS FOREALS!!!
