pro tools plug-in problem

i just recently up graded my pro tools 6.8 to pro tools 7.1. when i upgrade i noticed that my waves plug ins that showed up on my 6.8 don't show up on 7.1. i tried reinstalling my plug-ins on my computer but that still didnt work. has anyone had this problem, i bet its something simple, i was going to email digidessign and wait a week but i wanting to post this on this site first because u guys always seem to help me out, hell you guys are half the reason my studio is runnin and really do thank you

you may have to update those plugins to a version that works with 7.1
Check the Waves site for that.

as long as its a legit waves, the site should have a patch if its necessary. other than that, im not sure.

also, i upgraded to 7.1 and decided to go back to 7.0 because i was having a lot of problems.

PT wouldnt recognize my midi controller in 7.1, among other things, so i said whatever, 7.0 works fine anyway.

so i learned, if its not broken, dont fix it.
