I'm trying to bounce a song with six audio tracks. When it's done converting after the bounce I'm getting an error message that displays this:
"\code\aztec_Staley\AlturaPorts\NewFileLibs\Ff\Auline 33.
I've tried re-installing the software and downloading new updates from Digidesign, but with no success. I'm definitely not out of hard drive space either. This is probably a common problem. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

(I'm using an mbox2 with a pc laptop.)

I've had this exact problem before, however when I re-installed it disappeared. It palys thru the entire track and then when it comes to the conversion stage (i believe) it gives this error, right?

Try trashing the prefs?

That's right. I tried to get rid of the prefs, but that still didn't work. So out of frustration I deleted the session and started over. I guess I'm going to be on the phone w/ digidesign next time it happens. Thanks for your advice though.

no no, no need to delete the session. there are several different ways to get around the problem.

a) first change your DAE playback buffer size. some people have said they have better luck with that
b) change the length of the bounce just slightly larger or smaller
c) bus all your tracks to a new stereo audio track and re-record it. Then try bouncing that or Export Region As File
d) change the bounce parameters to convert during bounce

i think that's what sorted it for me..that's the one thats labelled Level 1 thru Level 8 right? (i always get the 2 of those mixed up..)

yeah, one is the actual size (like 512 and 1024....can't remember off the top of my head the name PT gives it). And the other is the level or priority PT gives it.

Again, that is just an option Digi recommends. It's something some users have had success with when seeing this error. The other options might give you better success.
