I am currently running Pro Tools 9 on a Sony Vaio VPC12AFM with Windows 7 64-bit, Intel Core i3 processor at 2.27 GHz and 4GB of installed RAM. Now sometimes with big sessions or sessions that have alot of plugins, Pro Tools will tell me that CPU usage is running low or can't even run stuff if there is too much going on. I was wondering, since I know my computer can go up to 8 GB of RAM, if upgrading RAM will do anything, or if I need a new processor. Any input will be helpful, thanks!
