Pro Tools 8.0.1 LE will not load in Vista 32 bit?

Just picked up the Digidesign Eleven Rack with Pro Tools 8.0.1 LE! All my computers are 32 bit Running Vista Home. I can't even get the program to install. I plan to call tech support on Monday but was hoping there was a download to fix this? Any help or advice would be great. I also have this posted on the DUC.

I suspect you'll get more helpful answers on the DUC...

But it's almost definitely not the OS.

My thoughts are that it is likely a hardware issue.

However have you got Vista Service Pack 1 or 2 installed? If not definitely install 1, you need it. Consider SP2, though it's not supported, there are no known problems.

On the other hand it could be the processor/chipset; Core Duo processors were never tested with Pro Tools LE, so I'm not sure if I problem could stem from there.
