Pro studio "wiring"...

I am a recording industry major and love playing with equipment of my own. The more I look at new equipment and the more I learn about equipment in my classes the more complicated everything seems to get. Does anyone have wiring diagrams and pics of how larger and pro studios are wired? I would love to see how others have integrated everything together and what is used.

I wired my setup around 6 52 point Switchcraft long frame patchbays. The rear connections on these are soldered so you have to either know how to solder or have deep pockets to hire someone to do it for you. Essentially all the ins and out of all the gear in the studio are brought up to this one location.

Cool. Track Rat, are those half-normal or normal connections?

The inserts are fully normaled. All the rest are terminated straight thru.
