pro audio sucks.....! :O

Well, I went through the help menu and I still am lost. I cant stand this program....
I used Cool Edit 2000 when I was learning all this stuff, but now Im using Pro Audio only because of the multi track capabilities.
Cool Edit is great for real time feedback, tons of effects, and it is very simple to use. AND the best part about it is that it doesnt have all that MIDI crap added in. Midi is great if thats your thing, but it seems like 99% of pro audio was made for midi stuff. All my stuff is digital audio....

I really want to get Cool Edit Pro, but alas It is quite expensive(I got pro audio free from a friend.)

If anyone out there would be willing to burn a copy of Cool Edit Pro and mail it to me along with the serial number and all that so I could set it up, that would be great. I would be more than willing to mail you a copy of Pro Audio along with the serial number.

Please....anyone?

Sorry, I can't help you but yes, if you don't do midi, then there
is no point at all in using Cakewalk. That's because it started
out as a midi program and then added audio. If you are just
going to do audio, then you should get a program designed
just for that.

But I guess the way you feel about Cakewalk is the way
I feel about Cool Edit pro. Some people rave about it. I
just don't like it or understand it very well.

im just used to the ce configuration. Switching to pro audio is kind of confusing.
and youre right about that midi stuff.
