Does anyone have any idea how to get the sound of Prince's guitars? The same ones that Michael Jackson tends to use post-Thriller on Bad and Dangerous that have a very close-miked sound, but also seem amped a little to give it some beef. Trouble is, this never sounds really anything like his, and I was wondering if it was a job for miking the actual guitar and not just the amp. Any ideas?
