on my last recording I made I had print through problems - very audible, especially on vocals in quiet parts - think that one led zeppelin song... where the vocals delay backwards, meaning you hear the vocal print through BEFORE the vocal.... I always store my tapes tails out so I dont get it, what do I need to do? I am already starting to hear it on my new recording, on the click track, which I purposely recorded at very low levels!!
