Hi
I record my electric guitar in stereo using an amp simulation box (Yamaha DG stomp). During the mix, I have the most presence if I put the 2 pan cursors at the position 2 o'clock. If I put the pan cursors in position 12 and 4 o'clock, the overall guitar is still in position 2 o'clock but the sound is more wide with less presence. I have to boost the mid (around 1.1kHz) to get back the presence. Is there a good way to balance between the two (pan and mid frequency boost) ? I'm really struggling with the guitar sound on my latest project.
Thanks,
Jack Real.
