Preamp to Line In

Can I plug in a preamped effects pedal into the line input on my soundcard? Or will this damage the soundcard? I was just wanting to record some guitar tracks. The effects pedal is a Zoom 1010. Thank you

yes you can...as with all preamps, watch your levels......

Im sure at some time in your life you played thru less than stellar gear....that Zoom is light years ahead of some of the gear I have played thru....

I know I even used to own a Zoom 1010. I think thats part of the reson I like to make fun of the crap so much.
