Hi...I record with a Presonus Firebox and was considering buying a new unit...something like the Motu Ultralite mk3 or the RME Fireface 400.
However...some threads might be convincing me that it would be better to just buy a preamp to use in conjunction with my Firebox.
What do you think is the better option?
and What preamps would you recommend in a $300-400 price range?
