for elec guitar and/or vocials, by the way, i have access to a # of tube guitar amps, can i just pass through one using it as a pre before entering the monitor/mixer? excuse the newness, my guitar sounds very digital/dry... bland/flat, i've read alot of users here are working with the mic100 pre, i have quite a few guitar effects, but none with a 12ax7 tube in them...
one more, i see a rather large price difference between preamps, your experances as far as sound quality between them and if it's relevent in todays market...
