Preamp Suggestion under $350

I'm about to get an Audiophile 24/96 to go along with my Rode NT1. My question is whats the best preamp i can get for recording rap vocals for under $350?? I only need to record vocals so i don't need a whole bunch of inputs. Help me out.

Vocals you say? For only a few pezzutos over your budget, you could get a GRACE DESIGN 101= very sweet for vocals. And, if you splurge or find an ugly rich girlfriend, you can get an RNC = mellow box. Run your mic into the mic pre and then from that into the RNC and you will see.

Alas, it's almost always a matter of dinero.
