PreAmp or Audio Interface - To Record Singing?
I was going to get one, but not sure what is needed to connect to my computer. I currently use a crappy mic and default plug in back and the quality is HORRIBLE.

you will need both a pre-amp and an audio interface to record vocals digitally.

will you be recording a drum kit or will you just be recording vocals over some music?

Most interfaces have pre-amps...2 or more
