It's cheap for a reason. I've heard SM Pro Audio's preamps suck.

i find a good genral rule is that
if you have to buy cheep pre's, don't get tube.

I they have an 8 channel compressor for like 200 bucks aswell. That sub-behringer pricing. Cannot be good.

I will say, though, that I really like their M-Patch. It's a passive attenuator that I use to control my active monitors.

I got one of thier 8 ch. preamps and 4 of the channels went dead in 2 months. Never going to buy from again. Period.
