pre amps and compressors for drums

hi i was thinking about getting some pre amps and compressors for drums.

first of all...

i will be recording toms with http://www.musiciansfriend.com/srs7...3182699317/g=home/search/detail/base_id/35840

i will be recording snare with http://www.musiciansfriend.com/srs7...3182821638/g=live/search/detail/base_id/58542 and/or an sm57

i will be recording bass drum with

and im not sure what kind of overheads

for running everything on the drumset through
and
http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/Blue230/ (im not sure what to run through this... but i was told it was the right thing to do)

i will be running from all of that into a digidesign 002 rack.

are these good choices of equipment? are compressors and/or preamps important on drums?
