anyone with a Behringer UB802 mixer...do you use the XLR input on the MR-8 with the mixer or do you use the 1/4 input? My instruments (acoustic) sounded great but the vocals quality was not as good. (a little distorted, not very full. ) I get much better vocals with the ART Tube MP...but it has no EQ. I just bought the UB802 after reading some of the good reviews it received on this BBS. Any help will be appreciated.

Did you use this unit to record a band??? If so,,how many mic's did you use for the drum kit??? I am a newbie trying to find the best unit in my price range of $450.00 to record our band with quality results...Thank you..

UB802

from the mixer which input on the MR8, XLR or 1/4 phone input

I hope kdgospel enters this discussion. My frame of reference is the VF-80, but I do use a UB802 for pre-amping my mics. the connection I use is to run from the main outs to the guitar (line) inputs. I assume the same setup would be used for the MR-8.
Set the trim on the MR-8 to minimum and use the trim/level controls on the UB802/1002 to set the recording level.
