a tip - when you install ptpa youll see a midi plug on each track.
click it to record audio mono (one waveform), other clicks bring up stereo.
really explore the audio/midi/effects editing and read the help. lots of tips.
also i was reading a forum yesterday and forget to mention the ability for charts / scores / printing etc. i dont know if preparing music charts is your bag , i'm no expert but this one thread on another forum reminded me that ptpa and biab are good in this area.
