power amps... samson 120

I'm wanting to get a power amp for my setup here. right now i'm running everything though a pa system but I want to go with a power amp with reference monitors. I was looking at the samson 120 (reference quality) for $189.00. Does anyone no anything about it. Is it worth the money?
 
Don't bother... On a budget, look at the TA series of Hafler amps, although you'd do better going with the P-series.

I did some researce and the hafler p1500 loks good. $419.00 though, I guess you get what you pay for. I think maybe I should hold on to the money I have and get a hafler down the road.
 
Wanted your thoughts on the Hafler TA1600! At $249.00 that don't look so shabbie.
 
the Samson amps arent that terrible...they can get the job done on a budget.....

but i have a Hafler TA1100 and i have to vote on it....very clean and quiet....i wish i had more watts, but i also wish i had more $$$$,,,,,,
 
That's what I was saying above - it's going to be better than the Samson (my opinion!)

i just felt the need to clear up the fact that the Samson is a decent little amp....dont want it to become the next Behringer......

expecting any bear cubs yet?:eek: :D
