power amps for PA system

Anyone knows where I can find information on power amps, but power amps for a PA system (for live gigs and rehearsal of a rapcore band). I have to choose between Crown, QSC and Yorkville and I can't find any review or comparison anywhere. Thanks
 
I run sound for a small band that plays stuff like Rage and Tool. THey use a QSC 1000 and something watt amp for their full range driving 18" horn and 15" speaker... they use a mackie 1400 watt amp for 4 15" subs. They like the makie because of the built in sub crossover. Both of these amps have held up REALLY well considering. That's been my experience with them hope that helps.
