Power amp for passive monitors or Yamaha MSP5

My cheapest solution for my homestudio monitoring would be Tannoy Reveals http://www.netzmarkt.de/thomann/artikel-128670.html?ARTTEXTSPRACHE=E&WAEHRUNG=FIM and a low cost power amp so should I go for passive Tannoys and buy a cheap power amp (which?)(I'm thinking T.amp http://www.netzmarkt.de/thomann/artikel-141141.html?ARTTEXTSPRACHE=E&WAEHRUNG=FIM )

How many watts of power should the amp has for Tannoy Reveals?

The other way to go would be to buy Yamaha MSP5 monitors???

I have no real change to test those monitors so I'm leaning on you guys...help...

In Finland you save loads of money if order your stuff from germany ;)

yes it is - its easier to blow stuff up with underpowered monitors believe it or not.
Save yourself a lot of bother, and have better results, go with the self powered ones. These have amps carefully matched to the speaker enclosures / components.

The Yamaha's are good, but if you can get them over there my choice would be the JBL LSR25P's

yep now I know it is... I was consulting my friend over phone last night and he told me actually same thing with the same words...
but...hmmm I have to think about it....

I have a quite good YAMAHA hifi stereoamp at home. I was thinking I could use It for while with the Tannoys it gives about 35W per channel / 8 Ohm (I think). And then in a future the next step would be to buy a proper power amp.

Will I blow up the speakers with that? I know I have work with fairly low volumes...(which is not good either)

and yep I can get those YAMAHA monitors here... but I have heard that those Tannoy have little more bass and by my mixing experiences I think they would better to my ears.

By the way I checked out those JBL's and their price was twice of the YAMAHA's.... so no way...

and as allways money is a object.
