Posting .mp3, .rm

With the help of this forum I have been able to convert a mix in .wav to .mp3, only to discover that the file is still to large (6.5MB) to send via my hotmail account.
Converted to .rm, it is smaller (928KB) than the allowable maximum (1024KB), but still won't attach.
Can anyone explain why?
Any suggestions?

Upload it

You need to upload you music to a server on the web.

Maybe your isp provides some free space or you could look into uploading your music to MP3.com or Nowhereradio.com .

Once you have it uploaded just send the link to the file to whomever you want to listen to it.
