Post a picture of your rack! :o

Wow, nice racks there Singking! Thanks for playing!

What's that Yamaha thing second one down second pic? Looks like a fancy reverb...is that their early accoustic room modeller?

No its the one above,

The digitech unit, sorry mate didnt see the other below.

The digitech is black, with blue and white areas showing which controls effect which parts.

Digitech

Eddbud ...

It is an old Digitech Digital Delay. It is really useful for heavy chorus and flanging. It can also produce demonic sounds - Just a toy I keep because I have never found anything else like it.

Ive got one!

Yeah ive got one too!

Its a strange machine, gives some weird feedback sometimes if you fiddle with the fb control.

I agree about the chorus and flange, some very good results from that point of view.

Basic Delay lines are great. Lexicon used to make a couple (PCM-60 and PCM-61) and the Roland SDE-3000 is probably my favorite time domain effects processor ever. I am sure there are others, but those are my favorites.

Sooo...c'mon Light, c'mon eddbud, lets see those racks.

Pics not words.

I'm retired from the big studio world, and I am building my home studio VERY slowly, only buying things when the studio pays for its own growth (which it does only very slowly).

Light..

I have a roland SDE 1000 in my live rack - I Agree. What does the SDE 3000 do different?

I do not know the SDE 1000, but the SDE 3000 is a delay line, with comprehensive feedback controls, and tap tempo (really nice). Nothing else to it. It does not have reverb settings, or any EQ or dynamics, or anything, just delay. It is by far the best sounding delay I have heard, barring a 1/4" Studer on vari-speed. I need to get two.
