what am i thinking ??? Would my statement be true with solid state???

I know when i bought PA gear, Every company rep i talked to said to over power you speakers a little to avoid clipping from the amps. Im not talking about distortion, im talking about the negative type clipping that will harm speakers and ruin amplifiers.

sorry for the bad info, i had a bad lunch when i posted it. must have tainted my brain. :)

Nice call on the Marshall stacks Outlaws. You the man.

damn i hate when i look retarded.

You can power as many speakers as you want with an 18w amp, just keep the resistance (ohms) matched between the amp and cab. I'm not sure why people are saying otherwise. However, I think a 6x10 would be more of an unusual "look" thing than a "sound" thing. I'm not sure if, once you got it going, you would be all that happy with it. I'd try it out (by running a 4x10 and a 2x10 together) first.

Thanks outlaw! theres some realy ace stuff cummin' out of you! Ok ok lets pretend i dont want the 6x10, what other speaker config would you guys reconmend with 10" speakers?
