Possible Masterlink software problem

I had about an hour of tunes on the hard drive in 48/24 resolution, and no spaces between tracks. I then created a Red Book CD, which launched the usual rendering and dithering algorithm. Upon playing the resulting CD, I noticed that after a point about 30 minutes into the CD, I was hearing a quick note, then a quick silence, before the track started. It got worse toward the end of the CD. It seemed like I was hearing a bit of the end of the previous track before the selected track started playing. It is as though, in the rendering and dithering process, the correct track start times got lost. When I inserted a 4 second space between tracks on the hard drive and burned another red book, the problem was gone. Has anyone else experienced this? By the way, I am using software version 2.11, which is, as far as I know, the most current one.

I have experienced this too, with only 3 or 4 songs rendered back to back. Being inexperienced with the ML, I sort of ignored it. I'm just finishing my first 7 song project & after adding some "fade outs" & putting 1 to 3 seconds between songs I haven't noticed this problem. I would be interested to find out why this happens & if it's a bug. Anyone else see this problem?
