The guitar playing needs a good deal of help...it sounds almost as if it was open strummed. I hope it was just way out of tune. The song seems to be decent if played and sung correctly. Also - Id pare back the reverb on the vocal and adjust the EQ as things are fighting with each other. But first fix the guitar work.

I agree with that guitar comment. It just doesn't sound right, whether it be out of tune or what, it needs to just be redone. Start over on that. The vocals could use some work also

yeah sounds like one of your strings is outta tune... a little digital clipping during that keyboard solo too. Vocals on the last quarter of the performance are superior to the rest. Just work to get that perfect vocal performance. I don't know what system you're using to record this, but what you might want to do is do a few takes of the vocals in its entirety and piece together the best takes of each line (this is easy to do on a computer based recording system where you can visually see the waveform). Its a little time consumeing but it will usually turn out great.

A for effort, guitar needs work, is there a chorus on it on top of it being out of tune? I listened to the other tune and the guit sounds better there, tell us what you are using to record.

ditto on everything said. It will come along, just needs a little more work.

Git seems out of tune, kit lacking presence. A slight de-essing and some comp would help the vocs. Pump the bass a tad! Keys could use some panning help as it runs against the gits.
The song overall is nice and with a tweak, tune and adjmt here & there, this will be a most-chill production.

Thanks all. Your opinions are most respected and appreciated.

I did all of this myself and everything execpt the guitar, vox and tambourines are MIDI.

I am using Home Studio 2004XL. Still using the onboard soundcard and the computer speakers. I am investing in PMO5 nearfields from Fostek and an Audiophile 2496 this week which should help me mix "with open eyes".

Back to the drawing board and a re tweaking.

Appreciate all of your help. Will repost when done adjsuting this thing.
