Using the VF80.

will a pop filter really make that much of a difference???

thanks

Regardless of the type of recorder you are using,a pop filter works.

It will help tame the "Plosive p's".

Thank you!

Got any advice for midi? will midi help me work with the SR16 into the VF80

I couldn't find a pair of panty hose the other night, so I used a pair of my old hole riddled underwear (clean). I didn't really notice any difference, and I got to give those faithful old undies a final serenade as farewell...

MIDI is a synchronizing/triggering thing, right? While I think the VF80 has MIDI connections, it might be just as easy to start the SR16 manually.

pop filters

the type of machine you use is not relivant, its the type of mic. a condensor mic must have one, and keep a distance from it when you sing, the close proximity of your mouth and the force of air damages the mic

its very easy to do this....midi out from the vf80 into midi in sr16.

you have to set the vf80 to transmit MTC from the setup menu (read your manual) and set the sr16 to respond to external midi messages.

when you hit play/rec start/stop the sr16 should do the same!
