I say "The Notorious BIG"..............
Pac may have been the hottest, but Biggie used to give you play by play.....You visualized what he was saying.......Feel me?

I dont agree with most of what he says but Ludacris' style is hot

I have to give it to Big L, Eminem or BIG. Nas impresses me quite often also. Tupac had a lot of shit out and that kinda freaks me out... err... how anyone could say Ludacris is one of the illest lyricists of all time must be half retarded. Seriously.

EMINEM NO QUESTION.... if you don;t know why?? You probably aren't bright enough to understand the depths of his rhymes. NO ONE COMES CLOSE except 2pac, but he was so fucking racist, it negates alot of his creativity in my opinion. Eminem VERY RARELY repeats himself and doesn't have to use words like "Nigga" in place of a more articulate word unlike 99% of all other rappers. EVEN WHITE ONES!! LOL!

hello, how being all you ill rapperman's? sweetnubs be da illest, hello.

hello, here I going now:

sweetnubs is da most ill

hello nubs swerving you his black attack
hello nubs is being having da sweetest back

hello, being thanks for listening to my freestylies
now you be knowing now nubs is da most ill, hello I am talking to you hello.

depends on....

what is really being compared.

For instance, trendsetters would have to be people like Slick Rick, NWA and, don't shoot me but....even Too Short. Point being, they crafted their artforms and many have filled in the blanks using their templates....

But on tha real, 2 Pac and Biggie respectively have earned my votes.

Pac because of his true character and heartfelt rhymes. Maybe not the best lyricist of all but certainly one of the best all around rappers.

Lyrically, I don't think that a rapper to date has possessed the charisma, poise and true output that B.I.G. gained favour for. He could paint a mental picture better than any painter could fathom. Questionable content, Maybe?! But respect his skill, you have got to...

Jigga is tight and has a lot of variation but even he has commonly fallen victim to the serial killer called redundancy. His character has taken longer to develop as it relates to his career and he is IT now at 30 suntin', so imagine where B.I.G. would fall when both he and 2 Pac had achieved such great feats so early in life...

Its a scary thought. Look out Billy Graham and all you other Evangelists, Pac and B.I.G. would have truly rounded up the masses. I still here pastors referring to cliche phrases coined in these two cats rhymes....

Bmorris, you hit all that on da head!
Pioneers definitley need to be recognized for paving the way and tolerating alot of hateration when people wouldn't give hip hop a chance. NOW LOOK AT US $$$$$$$

But Biggie n Pac was two people who was more than just hip hop, they were the mouth pieces of many. They had that emotional drive, be it positive/negative energy. Either way, they allowed you to chill, vent, and just vibe with them as they took you places....

And yo JadionMusic Please don't diss Pac and call Eminem ARTICULATE.......I think Eminem is a damn good rapper, but remember there was a "2pac 1st". Tupac wasn't racist (in a negative sense) he just Loved his people, unfortunatley he got influenced by the Big Cat in Red (Suge) and his life got snatched away at an early age. But the wisdom that he possessed was enough to make any scholars knee buckle, and you have to know about the struggle to understand that!

every 1 is redundant as is life. that is if u have any longevity in the game jay definitely been in it 2 long not to be. but u know he still got it right now. em is nose to nose wit him jays just faster as far as creatin em is a writer jay got that no pen no pad 50 g's says 1 take

of all time dont hate me either in no specific order
pac
big
g rap
rakim
pun
e-40(if u use his slang at east respect his talent pac did)
