POD XT live for bass.

Anybody use the POD XT live (guitar version) for a bass.
I may have a chance to get one at a great price.
Is it useful on a bass or should I save up for the bass version?

funny you should say that, im playing my bass through mine right now. you can get great sonds as is, which what i do, of you can buy the bass model pack for 100 bucks, which is the bass podxt and podxtl all combined into one,

in short, yes,
