pod vs johnson

for those of you keeping score....i ordered the akai dps 16 last week...and now they're saying TWO MORE WEEKS.....aaarrrrgggghhhh

anyhoo....any thoughts on a comparo between the guitar pod and the j- station? the price is real similar...

Dr Drew,

I'm working with another guitarist who just bought a POD and it is pretty amazing. I haven't played with a J-Station, but I like the fact that it has bass amp models as well. It would be nice to have one unit that would give me some flexibility for both guitar and bass. I know Johnson's web site has samples of the J-Station. Try Line 6's also, don't know if they have samples or not.

This topic has been covered in a few threads on the Guitars and Basses Forum. Try going there and doing a search for "pod station". I did that and got five matches. It seems like most people here are POD fans.
