POD effects on drums?

For those of you who have a POD, I'm sure you've read the section in the manuel they call "changing history" referring to using the POD during mixdown to tweak/change your effects on your guitar. My question is this. Can it be used on drums during mixdown? I only have one effects processor and I am doing a song in which I am using delay on my voice. Therefore, am limited to only delay in the mix on the instruments not printed with effects already on them. The drums are flat as hell, and I would like to apply reverb or chorus to the snare in particularly. I used one of the snares on my drum machine that has reverb already on it, but because of a limited # of tracks I couldn't run stereo, therefore the reverb is hardly noticable and doesn't really sound that good. Has anyone ever used the POD during mixdown on guitar or other instruments? How would I go about hooking it up for the snare track, through the other aux send? Is this even possible? Any help/advise would be appreciated.
