Plugin Latency Help : Sampleslide

This might be better in the newbie section, but seeing that it is computer related I feel it more relavent here.

I have Sir Reverb and the sample latency is 8960. Now I have downloaded AnalogX's Sampleslide but I don't know where to put it in my computer to get it to show up in my Logic program. If anyone is not familiar with the Logic program it has a plugin enabler and I can get Sampeslide to show up there but not in my Logic's insert / bus effects.

Logic does except direct X files so it should show up. Can anyone shed some light on my dilemma, or is it just ignorance in my computer literacy?

toon. i would ask for a solution at noisevault.com where a lot of sir users hang out. it is my understanding there was a new release of sir which deals with these issues. but ive forgotten wjere i saw the info.
also if your pc is older you might talk to folks running new amd 64 processors.

Thanks Manning. I was thinking of going there if I could'nt get a response here. That is where I got the Lexicon and a couple other impulse responses from. Guess I'll go do a search there and see what I can dig up.
