Hi - I'm about to get involved w plug-ins but don't know how to use them. I was advised to get a certain reverb plug-in + files to use w it. Is there any trick to all of this or any instructions where I can read how to do it? I didn't see any at first glance at KVR. thanks

What program are you recording with?
You should find info about configuring plug-ins in your recording software's help file or manual...

?

I haven't decided what program I'm recording w yet, as I have to get something additional to GT Pro which doesn't host plug-ins. If the documentation tells me what to do then I should be OK. I just didn't know how files of a reverb for example, work w a VST reverb plug in.?

Are you talking about SIR?? If so, there are instructions on it's website... and you need to go there to download them, as you should with ANY plug-in. Kvraudio is just a news release for the plugs and you need to click on the link to the author's website.

If you are just getting started with plugins, start with something simple like the great free Classic series at www.kjaerhus.com Save the more complicated ones like SIR for later when you know what you're doing.

Installation for VST effects is as simple as throwing the .dll files in the VST folder of your audio application.....

Some audio applications will automatically detect them and add them to their VST folders. At least I know Vegas does. If not, it's like Tim says, drag the .dll files into the VST folder and then start up the application.

Take the time to look around at KVR!Theres some really cool stuff there!
