Forgive me if this is a silly question, but I just don't know how do you use plug ins with Digital Performer 4.5?
I have a bunch of plug ins(VST) but I don't know where to place them in order to get them to work. I have a VST wrapper but yet again , I don't know where to put them.

Can anyone help me with this?

Thanks

Is it the VST to AU wrapper by FXpansion or the VST to MAS wrapper by AudioEase? Plugins in DP are accessed via the Audio Menu for non-real time processing, or the insert menus of the mixing board for real-time processing. If you have the VST to AU wrapper then DP will need to examine the AU plugs upon starting DP when using them for the first time (DP will do this automatically). I believe the plugins are stored in the library/audio/plugins path on your desktop. There should be a component for each plugin or set of plugins here when you install them on your hard drive. Hope this helps.

I'm also assuming you are running DP with some sort of audio interface (such as the Motu Audio System, like an 828mkII, or DAE with Pro Tools hardware), if you are running DP in MIDI only mode with no interface, then you will not have access to your VST plugins in DP.
