Please rate my mix

We've made a song a little while ago and I'm wondering how the mix is, it's recorded with crap equipment (a Xenyx 802 and Behringer B1), but I think it still sounds pretty decent, but there is always room for improvement.

Can somebody please help us with our mix, mainly the recordings. The beat isn't made by us.

It sounds like you know what you are doing. The pan in the chorus is almost perfect to me. piano is a bit dull, try some eq there. The strings dont stand out enough at all. Drum beat sounds good except for the hats, they sound like crap. Pretty good mix overall. Some small things I would change.
 
This beat isn't made by us, we never figured out how to make a piano beat. These are some of our beats (they are just short samples). These beats aren't fully finished yet.

 
anybody with some more feedbackk

i just wanna know if we are getting enough out of our gear and if its even wise to buy new gear
