I've been Setting Up a Ultimate Digital Home Studio .

There is still a few odd things I'm looking for though and was wondering if there is anybody out there that can help me or point me in the direction for help .

I'm looking for the very best headset (headphones with mic ) with full-range stereo sound. I want to be able to use it for games, music, speech recognition voice .
I Need it to get the best professional sound quality I can .
Is there anything like this . What is the closest thing I can get to this ?

Help me out .
Thanks

Well, you're here, that's a great start!

The best advice is to hang around here a while and read till your eyes bug out of your head and spittle is running down your chin.
Then you will realize that what you are asking in this post is kind of a dumb thing to be asking on this board.

And probably why I am the only one to respond so far.

Hang in there!!:)

I realize if I want the very best of both worlds . I should just buy separate items (headphones and mic ) .

But this being a home recording website . I "thought" there would be some people in here with a little bit of knowledge .

I don't think it's a dumb question for this board . Because I do know they sell pretty high quality headsets like what I'm going for .
Because alot of DJ's and people in that area of home recording use them .

I just don't know what the good ones are and the right places to find them .

I do think it was a dumb reply by you . Because if your so into professional recording equipment . I'd think you'd know this . Or at least somebody on here .

DJ'ing and that line of music is not my area .

Ok if it's some dumb of a question , and nobody can help me that way .
About what is the best quality headphones out there you guys would suggest for home recording ?

That better ?

Thanks for the reply , Anymore ?

Sorry, I'm a jerk!

Bad Maestro! BAD BAD!:D :D

Headset mic's don't allow for any sort of mic technique, and as a singer myself I shun them, and would never expect "Professional Quality" results from using one!

If you're not a DJ then why would you want one?

I'm open to correction, but a cheap dynamic mic (or even better, condenser!) set up properly with proper singing technique should give better overall results than an expensive all in one set like you are looking for.

Throw in a decent set of headphones and you still saved money!

If there are some "all in one" Headset users that disagree, please chime in!

I simply meant that after a thourough perusal of this BBS you would have found what I said about mics to be a common theme.

You could try posting (with full double post apologies) to the DJ Forum and see if users there have input?
